Following the previous editorial, Health Balance II, this reflection focuses on psychological prevention, physical well-being, and personal responsibility for a healthy lifestyle. Health is influenced by a complex interaction of biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors. It is therefore important to recognize the signals of our own body, respond appropriately to prolonged stress, and consider which habits or circumstances in our lives can be changed. Illness cannot always be explained by a single cause, but it may encourage a person to reconsider priorities, work patterns, rest, and self-care.

Modern society often promotes intense professional commitment, career advancement, and the pursuit of material success. However, when physical or psychological limits are repeatedly exceeded, health problems may gradually emerge. Maintaining a reasonable balance between work, rest, relationships, and care for one’s physical and mental health is therefore essential. Health is among the most valuable aspects of life, although its importance is often fully appreciated only when it becomes compromised.
