Basis: Fluiball has extensive use in sports, fitness and gradually also in the field of physiotherapy, thanks to its mechanical properties. The purpose of the survey was to determine the effect of exercise with the fluiball device on the strength and stability of the core system.
Group: The survey was conducted on 30 patients, of which there were 22 women and 8 men with an average BMI of 21.75 ± 2.84, with an average age of 33.63 ± 11 years.
Methods:The evaluation of the strength and stability of the core system was performed using the Sport-specific endurance test, Sahrmann Core Stability test. The Patients completed a 6-week exercise with the fluiball device focused on the core system at home. The fluiball exercise was divided into two exercise units, which were recorded on video, which the patients received after the initial examination.
Results: Based on the statistically significant effect on the strength and stability of the core system, we recommend including the fluiball device in physiotherapeutic exercises, in the practice of physiotherapists and using its potential in the therapy.
