Abstract

The study discusses the possibilities of hamstring injury in team sports, specifically in football. It reports the anatomical connections of the hamstring group of muscles, innervation and vascular supply. This stidy deals with specific mechanisms of injuries and their acuteness. It describes the specifics of diagnostics and its possibilities in modern medicine. Subsequently, it describes in detail the physiotherapy procedures in the therapy and prevention of hamstring injuries.
