Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in .docx format (Microsoft Word)
  • All "PES" points have to be followed. See section: Ethics Statement
  • The text meets the stylistic and bibliographic requirements specified in the section: Article Format
  • Figures must be uploaded also as a separate TIFF files. The resolution of images uploaded separately must be 200 DPI.

Author Guidelines

The submitted manuscript in the journal REHABILITATION may not have been previously published or been under consideration in another journal.

Work should take the following form:

The work must be concise, stylistically, and linguistically correct. We accept text and documentary material in Slovak, or English languages. The text must conform to the rules of the respective grammar.

Citations and bibliography

Only the literature to which the author refers in the text should be cited. It is preferable, if it is not older than two years, exceptionally literature older than 5 years can also be cited - e.g. regarding the original, as yet unsurpassed source. We use citation format STN ISO 690 (01 0197), so please authors to comply with this regulation.

Examples of citing articles and bibliography:

  • Scientific articles with one to two authors:

Bertin, M., Atanassova, I. (2022). "Semantic Enrichment of Scientific Publications". Journal Name. 18 (7/8). PP101-172. doi:10.1045/XXXXXXX. ISSN 1082-9873.

  • Scientific articles with more than two authors:

Furka, D., et al. (2021). "Article Title". Journal Name. 18 (7/8). PP101-172. doi:10.1045/XXXXXXX. ISSN 1082-9873.

The references contain information about  the magazine volume 18 and the magazine issue 7/8. The cited article can be found on pages 101-172. It is also necessary to include a DOI number or ISSN if available, as it provides an identification of uniqueness and a permanent way for any reader to access the article.

Section of original scientific articles written in English and German published as OPEN ACCESS immediately. Publishing in this section is fully under the consideration of Editorial Team. The purpose of this section is to publish high-quality scientific works for an international professional, scientific, and educational audience. We accept articles on topics such as rehabilitation, new materials in rehabilitation, and experimental medicine, as well as related issues. The publication of this section is determined by the publisher. Articles in this section are published by invitation and include authors from around the world.

  1. Author(s) confirm that this manuscript is original and has not been submitted for publication purposes or published elsewhere.
  2. All trademarks used within the manuscript had been credited to its owner, or written permission to use the name has been granted.
